FAQs

What food & alcohol will be served at the event?

This event is designed to be a tasting event. Participating restaurants will serve sample-sized portions of food and beverages. NJ State law requires that alcohol samples be limited to 1.5 ounces. There will be ten or so liquor-licensed businesses participating that are allowed to serve an alcoholic beverage of their choice. Beverages will range from beer, to wine, to sangria to a mixed cocktail. Food samples will vary from restaurant to restaurant depending on the type of food normally served at that establishment.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Yes, after you purchase tickets, you will pick-up your wristband on the day of the event. You will be required to present a valid driver's license.  Every paid attendee must present proof of age; accordingly, each attendee must be present at wristband pick-up. Only individuals 21 and older will be issued wristbands.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Parking is FREE through out town on Sundays. All spaces are available, on street and in multiple parking lots. Want to make it easy? Take the train – the Red Bank station is right in the center of all the action! Parking and directions here: https://www.redbank.org/parking-directions/

What can/can't I bring to the event?

No one under the age of 21 may participate in the Food & Wine Walk. Children are welcome and must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian at all times; the parent or guardian may purchase food and beverages for their children from the regular restaurant menu. No children will be issued a wristband.

Is this event rain or shine?

Yes. You travel from restaurant to restaurant and the event is not weather dependent. In the event of inclement weather, participating businesses will have indoor space available.
