According to the official Artists Sunday website, "The national art shopping movement, the Sunday after Thanksgiving, November 29th, encouraging consumers to shop with artists and craftsmen. Think of it like Black Friday or Small Business Saturday but for the arts." Artists Sunday is the nationwide movement dedicated to supporting artists and recognizing the impact they have in enriching our lives, communities, and the economy.
RiverCenter is excited to participating in this movement's inaugural year and we encourage you to shop with artists to purchase creative, handcrafted gifts for the holidays and visit our local galleries and visual arts centers. Be sure to stop by Broadwalk to shop at our pop-up market from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and create some original of your own at the Sidewalk Chalk Station hosted by Monmouth Arts from 12 p.m. to 3p.m.
