Festival to Feature Live Music, Child-Friendly Activities, and Fabulous Food and Drink
RED BANK, NJ - August 13 , 2018 – Red Bank RiverCenter today announced one of the town’s premier fall events, Red Bank Guinness Oyster Festival, is set to make its return from noon to 7 p.m. on Sunday, September 30. The popular festival, sponsored by Guinness and The Asbury Park Press, will kick-off at noon in Red Bank’s White Street parking lot and promises to offer a diverse selection of savory bites, beverages, music and fun for all ages.
Already highly attended for its music line-up and eclectic food and drink, including fan favorites like fresh oysters and the Emerald Isle’s most treasured stout, the 2018 Red Bank Guinness Oyster Festival will also include family-friendly activities. Curated for children of all ages, the afternoon event will include a petting zoo, and a bevy of children’s rides and games.
Two stages on the festival grounds will include an impressive showcase of local and regional bands including Tim McLoone & the Shirleys, Brian Kirk & The Jirks, The Weeklings, Alan Chez & Brothers of Funk Big Band Remember Jones, Marc Ribler Band, Pat Roddy Band, JoBonanno & the Godsons, Guilty Pleasure and Atlantic Watch Pipes & Drums. The event’s full music schedule begins at noon and can be viewed on the Red Bank RiverCenter website.

Proceeds from the $5 entrance fee to the Red Bank Guinness Oyster Festival will be split between three Red Bank-based benefactors: the Count Basie Center for the Arts, Lunch Break and Red Bank RiverCenter.
Red Bank RiverCenter, in conjunction with RUE Events, manages this award-winning event.
Red Bank Guinness Oyster Festival will begin at noon on Sunday, September 30 and continue until 7 p.m. Admission is $5 per person; children under the age of 10 will be admitted for free. Parking will be free throughout Red Bank on the day of the festival.
Event-goers can text Red Bank’s popular Scooter Dudes who will be cruising the streets and providing rides to and from the White Street parking lot with ease for a fee of $5 round trip. To request a ride from Scooter Dues attendees can text 732-784-3011 with their name, location, number of riders, pick-up time and destination. A rain date of October 7, 2018 from noon to 7 p.m., is set for this event.
