Online parking survey posted for Red Bank
RED BANK, NJ — Red Bank RiverCenter is asking anyone who shops, eats, visits, enjoys, works, walks, rides, or parks in Red Bank’s downtown to take a brief survey about their experiences and perceptions of parking in the downtown. The survey can be found at Red Bank Parking Study Survey (survey closed on 12/5/18).
“It takes about five minutes to complete the survey,” said James Scavone, Executive Director of the Red Bank RiverCenter. “The Borough of Red Bank and RiverCenter are working with Walker Consultants to conduct a Comprehensive Parking Study. The online survey is the next phase of the process. ”
Walker Consultants is conducting the online, public input survey about Red Bank parking as part of a study of parking in the borough’s designated Special Improvement District.
The parking study will quantify and assess Red Bank’s parking supply and demand, pinpoint parking issues for everyday activities and special events, and prioritize ways to improve parking operations and maintenance. The study will also look at parking policies such as enforcement and pricing strategies.
Walker Consultants has already inventoried and mapped parking in the downtown business district and held a successful public meeting on Sept. 24 at Red Bank Middle School where businesses owners, residents and other stakeholders offered comments and insight on the Borough’s parking situation.
