Red Bank Pop Culture Festival

RiverCenter is excited to team with Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash for an epic afternoon in downtown Red Bank!  The Red Bank Pop Culture Festival will be a celebration for fans of all ages and feature a multiverse of super guests and attractions!

We are grateful to the Borough of Red Bank for providing a parking spot for the Batmobile on Broad Street between Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash and the Red Bank BroadWalk.  There you can snap a photo with the 1989 Batmobile!

Around the corner on White Street, you can pop into the Basie Center Cinemas to enjoy screenings of classic superhero serials!  Admission is FREE!  We recommend buying some great snacks, and maybe an adult beverage, at the concessions stand and jumping into the action on the big screen!

BroadWalk will be booming with action and great tunes by Deejay Khalil!  A NYC-based DJ and host of the “Not DJ Khaled Show” on iHeart Radio, Deejay Khalil is ready to bring the excitement on Saturday.  Learn more about him a deejaykhalil.com!

RiverCenter is proud to welcome the 501st Legion, HSL Photography, and LBB Artistry FX to judge the Cosplay Contest at 2pm!

The cosplay contest features an ages 12 and under and an ages 13 and up division!  First, second, and third place winners will receive a Pop Culture Festival medal and a Red Bank Bucks digital gift card.  The first place winners in each division will also be awarded a special prize from Jay and Silent Bob’s!

And the Cosplay Contest isn’t the only Competition!  If you have a particular app on your phone, you can compete in the “Not Peak A Chew, Please Don’t Sue” Mobile Game Gym Takeover Battle at the Jay and Silent Bob’s Gym on BroadWalk between 3:00 PM and 3:30 PM.  The 6 players in the Jay and Silent Bob’s Gym at 3:30 PM will win a Red Bank Bucks digital Gift Card and a Red Bank Pop Culture Festival Medal! 

Stop by the Secret Stash table to score some Stash Cash and meet Kevin Redzinksi, the Nightmare on Elm Street body double actor who Robert Englund dubbed “Freddy #2”!
